Opinion please: What do you think of this for our cake table?

I've been looking to spell 'love' on our cake table and came across these today:

They're plates that spell 'LOVE'! I was thinking I could fill them with colored M&Ms that bring out the lavender in our colors and have them on the cake table.

Too much? Or cute different sort of idea?

totally LOVE the idea, it will look great and pulling out the colors is perfect..Go for it!!

I was doing a google shopping search for ceramic tile letters (I had found some at a store that were really for babies but they were out of O's when I went to purchase them today... and they were $8.95 each and I didn't love them...) and came across them on a specialty site. Then I figured I'd try amazon and there they were!

I love that idea! These LOVE bowls were on a recent episode of whose wedding is it anyway I think.

IMHO I like the letters, I probably wouldnt fill them with M&Ms though.

What if you filled them with some sort of crystals or something like that? If you go to Michaels by the flower aisle im sure you could find something to fill them with.

That's a good idea! I actually have some green stones that I had originally bought as part of my CP idea but didn't like the way it looked, so I could see how that goes!

I just figured since they were plates, they had to have candy in them, but I will definitely explore other options.

I'm so happy so many of you like my idea! I think I'm going to order them tonight!

Love them!! But agree with the stones idea. God forbid if by accident a guest takes an M & M and something happens to the cake you know, the stones is better
