My friends in NY love mermaid style and are souped for me to get it. My bridesmaids (not from NY) all HATE it with a passion. Fo much so that they begged me not to get one
I didn't think it'd bother me so much but it's f'ing with my head. I personally really like mermaid or fitted dresses but I want everyone in my bridal party to like my dress!
I haven't tried on a mermaid yet so maybe I'll hate it on me...
Anyone dealing with highly opinionated people regarding dresses?
Did you just ignore them and get what you wanted??

i went to look for my second dress this weekend and everybody had their own personal opinion - frankly, i'm trying not to listen to them bc it's what I want - not them...so i don't care. and if i do say something, they start pulling the bridezilla sh*t on me.... WHATEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR wait til you become a bride!

I used to hate mermaid dresses and now i love them!
Dont worry about everyone else. I think a mermaid or fit and flare would look fierce on you! They're stunning on taller girls. You'll look like a model!
Hey i showed my best friend the dress im obsessed w and she shrugged and said it was ok. We have diff tastes.
