I understand how you feel and would also feel the same...When i sent out my e-party invites not long ago i made sure to get all the names of everyones bf/gf, fiance or whatever...If its someone who wasn't in a relationship then thats different i would just put and guest. THere was one invite i was supposed to send out and they couldn't remember this guys fiancee's name and i said i am not sending and guest, his fiancee deserves more respect than that so told them to find out her name.

Re: OPINIONS
I'd be offended too, although maybe they are old school (or had old school family members help with addressing) and think everyone who's not married gets 'and guest' on the invite.

Re: OPINIONS
it is weird. when a friend of mine got married it was addressed to my name and fh name, but the place card said my name and guest.....i thought that was weird. maybe they had a family member do it for them and they didnt have your name?? either way it is weird.

Re: OPINIONS
Sometimes it's not the bride or groom who address the envelopes, so that might solve the problem if you could find out. Otherwise I would be very insulted!
