Opinions about centerpieces

Opinions about centerpieces

So my mother and I are having a disagreement about colors of the CP's and BM's bouquets. To give you a quick idea.. my wedding is October 2009 at Westbury Manor in the Manor room. My BM's dress are tea length Bill Levkoff in a wine color (basically a burgandy) and my dress is a marissa (just picture the melissa sweet mila, it's basically a replica). So the BM's are a burgandy color and my dress is ivory. I wanted to do the tablecloths and napkins in ivory with ivory chair covers and then red sashes for the chairs. I'm going to have an ivory bouquet and my sis who is the MOH is going to have an all red/burgandy bouquet. Here is where we differ, I originally wanted to do fall color bouquets for the BM's and centerpieces(oranges, yellows browns ect), but my mother thinks I should stick with the red theme and do the rest of the BM's bouquets and centerpieces in various shades of red, some dull pinks and white. The more she says the fall colors won't match the more I'm thinking they won't and now Im getting nerous and neurotic. I need opinions what do you guys think? I saw a girl on here who got married at the harbor club and had red BM's dresses with red and pink bouquets... ughh now I feel like a bridezilla stressing like this

I have to agree that the fall colors might clash with burgundy and ivory. Those are my colors as well, and as much as I love the Fall blood orange roses, and technically I'm a Fall bride, I just can't do it.

I think if you do deep burgundies, or like a black magic rose, that might look nice with some ivory or cream accents.

i disagree.....but thats JMO fall colors will look beautiful.....i think different shades of red roses will get lost in the dresses....you need contrast against the burgandy. the flowers should compliment your dresses and pop against them....but its all up to you....pink red and white sound valentines day to me....it depends on if you have a theme you wanna stick to

Heres a good Fall Thread if thats what you want your theme to be!
