So.. i wanted to incorporate my sister into my wedding some how since she passed away. I was thinking the last hour switching into her wedding dress. Hers was very simple and flowy. I would have to get it altered and stuff. What does everyone think?

That's very sweet. You could also stitch a piece of the dress onto your own dress, that way a piece of her is always with you on your special day.

I love the idea although you'll miss a lot of time at your reception changing etc. Personally, I wouldnt want to lose any time at my wedding.
Does she have a daughter? would she want to wear that dress? bc if she didnt, I;d take part of it and incorporate it into your bouquet or something instead.

Me too! This is a great idea. I liked the one about having it wrapped around the bo-k as well.

This is really such a personal thing and if it feels right to you, then do it. I think the sentiment behind it is very sweet.
But personally, the idea just isn't sitting right with me and I can't articulate why.

I think I saw something like this on David Tutera and David would tell you.....that if its not your style or not exactly what you want you shouldn't do it, your wedding is about you and you should find another way to incorporate her, maybe give out her favorite chocolate or candy for favors?

I think its a really sweet idea but I don't think I would actually wear her dress. Like other girls have said maybe I would take a piece of her dress and have it put inside my dress or on the bok. I think if you wear her dress it will be extremely emotiona and be very hard.
