Opinions need... a little long

OK this is the situation. I booked FM entertainment last night. Me and FH are paying for this on our own and are on a strict budget. Igot the DJ/ MC package but really wanted to splurge on the perimeter lighting (the leds around the room and looks amazing) which is costing around 800. This is fine but I can't add anything else. My problem is we are getting married around christmas and really fell in love with the idea of having a sax player. I just think it would be nice for him to play Christmas music during the CH and during dinner.

So here is my question... Keep the perimeter lighting and that's it .... or.... downgrade the lighting to the club lights and get the sax player?

congrats on booking FM! Ok...JMO I think if that were me I would down grade on the lighting and go with the sax player. I love Christmas time...I'm a sucker HTH and good luck!

I would agree with the sax player, maybe look for someone on craigslist and have them play for you beforehand so it isnt so much money and then you could do both.

Thanks ladies !! I think I am going to keep the lights... I just love them BUT my supervisors brother is a professional sax player (which I found out while asking her opinion of my dilemma) so I called him and I think hes going to do it !! I'm crossing my fingers but that would be perfect because I get both the lights and the sax !

sax player!

i was just at a wedding where they had a DJ and a sax player and he was incredible and really added so much to the music and the evening. i remember commenting on what a great idea it was to have him, he really made a huge difference
