I think the flowers on the shoulder make it seem a bit summery, but I still think you could get away with it. Have you seen #4092 in person? It is the first one shown in that line, I think it is very similar to yours but a bit less summery.

Yes, that was the dress I was going to post.

I like it. I love Demetrios' Sposabella line. My dress is from their couture line.

It might still be warm in October. I know it looks summery, but then again, January brides wear strapless dresses. I guess it's all about personal taste and the dress is very nice.

I think the dress is beautiful and you should go for it. It doesnt matter that it looks summer - if you change the background it can look early fall too. October can be very warm at times - and even if it isnt it doesnt matter...I am getting married in Jan and I love a strapless dress - and I am not listening to the oh its winter so you have to wear a winter looking dress. It is your wedding...wear what makes you happy!

thank you all for your opinions. i LOVE the dress and i would get it in a heartbeat if my wedding was in the summer, but i'm debating it for a fall wedding. everyone on my side thinks its too summery and fmil thinks i should get it. i dont know what to do.
