my mom wants to wear this dress for the wedding. it's meant for bridesmaids but i don't really care coz my bridesmaids aren't wearing it. what do you guys think? is it too young?

I have been to so many weddings where the mothers wore bridesmaids dresses and I dont think it fits in. It really looks out of place in my opinion but it should be what you are comfortable with.
I think most mothers wish they were a bridesmaid and really want to dress up. When would they get a chance to style it up again?

Here check this site out...They have MOB dresses, and theyre not typical mob dresses and work for mothers who are younger and dont want the typical MOB dresses, GORGEOUS dresses. The link will take you directly to the MOB section

i think it all depends on your mom's style... it's a beautiful dress! it is a little young-ish but no reason why she can't pull it off.. some mom's look younger than others lol
has she tried it on yet?

hmmm i dont know if it will take away from the bride, personally i think the bride is well the bride and will stand out no matter what, not like the mother will take away from you. Ive seen MOB have big extravagant dresses and its fine. As long as its not a wedding dress its ok lol
ALOT of girls use that type of dress for BM's and you not only have 1 person but many in that one dress and it still doesnt take away
