Hey ladies! So I need your opinion on what I should ask my bridesmaid to do in terms of shoes. They will be wearing floor length black chiffon dresses. Do you think I should just tell them to wear something generic; like everyone just wear black, closed toe shoes? Or should I have them all order shoes? I've done both myself in weddings. I mean, do you think there could be a weird look if one girl has satin, and one girl chose a more canvasy type?
Ugh or am I just looking for trouble??

I'm letting my girls pick whatever nude shoes they want. I want them to be comfortable and not spend money on a pair of shoes they may wear once and never again. I think that since the dresses are long you will barely see the shoes anyway so it won't look bad.

I left it completely up to my girls. I just asked that they communicate with each other and try to pick a color that they all agree on. Their dresses are floor length and navy blue. I'm hoping they go with a champagne or nude shoe, but I trust that they won't choose anything too crazy.

Since the dresses are long you barely if any are going to see them. I would just say a color. I u want to be more specific as a closed toe etc that would be fine too in my opinion

Our girls decided they would all wear the same shoes since the dresses are short and will be seen. If they were long they would have picked their own shoes.

I just told my girls to get silver metallic strappy shoes. They didnt have to be the same style. I wanted something they could wear again in the future.

I had short dresses and I let my girls wear whatever black shoes they wanted. They have to be in them all day, so why not let them be comfortable?

My girls are wearing long black dresses and I'm asking them to all wear gold shoes of their choosing. Normally, I'm very easy-going (they all chose their own dress styles) but the last wedding I was in one of the girls wore the most awful wedges and I just won't risk that. They were BAD.
