My FI and I are thinking about the song by Garth Brooks that is in the movie 'Hope Floats' - I think it is called 'Make you Feel my Love' for our first dance - it makes me cry everytime I hear it - it's such a sweet song. Does anyone know the song I am talking about? Do you think that is a good one?

Billy Joel sings that song also. I like the way Garth sings it though. Isn't it too slow to dance to though?

I didn't realize that it had been re-made so I looked into it: Bob Dylan wrote it, Billy Joel sang it as well as Joan Osbourne and Garth Brooks as well as some others. I like the Garth Brooks version the best and you can dance to that one - you can't really dance to the Billy Joel version although it is pretty too.

I am a huge country music fan, and I love that song. Our first dance will be to 'Crazy For You' by Madonna. We have a history with that song. Short version of a long story... the first time he ever told me he loved me it was using that song, so we have to dance to it! But Garth is definitely a great choice!

The full title is 'To Make You Feel My Love' by Garth Brooks....we are using a country song as well that defines us to perfection!

I just downloaded that song this weekend. I love it! FH isn't the biggest country fan so I'm glad to hear that Billy Joel has a version too.
