opinions on addressing wedding invitations
Hey,So I know the proper way to do envelopes is with a calligrapher. I don't have time or money to use one. My friend told me that to use clear address labels and just print them out from home. I don't know if that is tacky. Any opinions or better options?
Thanks

I actually just got an invite that they did that. It didn't look terrible but I didn't love it. Do you have any friends with nice handwriting who would address the for you? You can also print the addresses on the envelopes yourself. I'm sure it's quite time consuming but it would look nice

Or you have them printed directly on the invite in a pretty font. That is what I did.

My mom is the only one with decent hand writing. I can't print them through because I actually sealed all the envelopes already. I didn't think of that. My mom won't have time to do it by when I went to ship them out by. She is planning my shower and moving.

I used the clear labels and a calligraphy font. I think they came out good. Truth is the envelope will be thrown out so I personally didn't think I needed to get a professional calligrapher to do mine.Welcome New Vendors
