Opinions on bm dress color - claret or lavendar/lilac?

I'm trying to decide between these 2 colors and I'd love to take a poll and get your opinion.
The dress is dessy 1943. My wedding is 4/25 and I'm using tulips for bouquets.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
p..s My bms don't care which color it is, they like both.

I love both of them. However the claret is my fav. (I am having that color for BM dresses)

oh i don't know!! i love them both! at 1st i liked the lavender bc i thought the claret was too bright but the claret is different and the color is sooo pretty!!! sorry!!

I like the claret! I think it is a very beautiful and elegant color! (Plus, your dress will stand out more against this color.)

I am partial to the lilac since purple is my fave color...but both are nice colors for an April wedding!!

I had claret for mine. It's not as bright at the website makes it out to be. I'm biased because I thought the claret looked STUNNING on my girls. But you pick what you want. However, consider your girls. Lilac might be a harsh color on someone who is really pale. Think of their skin tones.

claret! One of my BM's almost ordered that dress and I saw it in claret in the store and loved it! I also wore the lavendar in that material and in that mfg and it wasn't a light lavendar - it was darker in person. It was ok for us because the top was a little designed with silver which offset the purple.

My girls are wearing 'euro red' which is similar to the claret...so I'm biased.

However, I think since you're getting married in April and you want tulip bouquets...I think the lavender may be a more 'springy' color.
