Opinions on centerpiece mockup

Opinions on centerpiece mockup

Hi I posted a bunch of pics of the mock up in my albums. We were totally disappointed when we saw it last night. I thought it was way too green and not enough white. The florist promised to make it more white and get rid of the two types of greens at the bottom. Instead she will add eucalyptus since it's a softer, paler green. She also said she will make it a little higher by having some of the calas at the top instead of the stock. And she said she would switch out the roses for the same kind that will be in my bouquet b/c I think those were too yellow looking. (The bouquet is vendela roses - a white with a slight pink undertone). Can I ask her to do another mock up with the changes? I'm not sure if I trust that it will be what I want just by talking about it. It seems like the eternal battle...florists want more green and clients want less. Anyone else have suggestions of how to make it look nicer?

I like the white.... and love calla lillies, so I think it's beautiful, and you're exactly right... a little less green would be perfect.

I agree there is a little to much green. Somthing to soften it up would be nice. To much green makes it look a little artifical. You should Definatly try and see if she would do another trial for you so you wont be worried about it. My CP are also CL and i love them.
I always say never take a vendors word for it. Make sure its in writing or picture.

i agree with getting rid of alot of the green. Also DEFINITELY ask to see a sample cp of the changes she is planning on making...You are paying for her services so you have to be happy with it and she should make sure you are satisfied.

I see what you're saying about the green. It does seem like a little much. I would def ask her to make another mock up for you..they should especially if you're paying for thier services

I agree, too much green! But if the necessary changes are made I can totally see where it's headed and it will be PERFECT!

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure if it would be too demanding to ask for another mock up but you made me feel better about it!

I think it looks pretty ... there wasnt that much green in it, so if you tell her that is alot, Im sure it will look good the next time. I think it looks greener because of the bright green walls! lol I do agree with the rosees, they look yellow ... you should switch them out to the whiter color.

You're so right about the walls. lol It was easier to look at the flowers and not the walls in person, but in the photos those walls seem to be neon!!

I actually think it's really pretty and fresh. I would remove a lot of the bits sticking out as they make it look messy. Just have the callas peaking out. IF she will remove some green that would help or she could bulk the white/cream up with hydrangeas. It WILL be beautiful!!

I have to agree with there being too much green. I do love the flowers you have chosen. If you dont like the new sample CP she shows you try looking up some pics of calla centerpieces to see if you find something you like so you can show her.
