Do you think X-mas when you see this invite? Color-wise...do these colors scream X-mas? My colors are red/gold. My sister said it looks too X-mas....is she right?

Re: Opinions on invite colors
I can see why your sister might think they look Christmas-ish, but I think because the red has sort of a pink tint to it(at least in the pictures), it voids out the Christmas feel a bit. They are REALLY pretty either way though!

Re: Opinions on invite colors
I really don't think it screams Xmas... it does have xmas colors but honestly that red doesnt remind me of christmas.. its like a diff shade of red and the gold with it looks beautiful!! Besides red and golds are fall colors as well

Do you think a burgundy color would look better? Ughhh....I was all excited about these colors and then my sister tells me they look like x-mas-ish cards!

If it had green in it too it would be totally christmas, but it doesn't so I think it's fine!

they don't look christmasy at all! I don't know if it's the photo but it looks a like it has a pink tint to it. I think it's great not christmassy in the least bit.

i love them!!!!!!! not christmas-y at all! it looks more pink-ish in the pics. (maybe just the picture) but I think the gold makes it more fall anyway!

I dont think that it screams christmas at all. It looks very elegant, and like one of the other girls said, its not a really bold red- it has a pink tint to it. I think its beautiful, and not 'christmas-y' at all!

I think you're fine The colors are really pretty! If you were sending out the invites for a December wedding, they might suggest Christmas. But you're in October, which means your guests will probably get them around August. Red and gold in August doesn't scream Christmas.
Good point!
