What do you girls think if the MOB dress isn't a floorlength dress? I'm having a daytime wedding at the end of the summer. My BMs will be in floorlength dresses so I guess it'll be more appropriate if my mom is in one too, right?

My girls are in floor length gowns my mom is in a dress suit......you can't really tell by the picture but the skirt goes to her knees. The funny thing on her head is a Spanish Mantilla she is wearing.

It's not a veil. Its a Mantilla. In Spain, where I am from, The mother of the Bride and the mother of the groom wear mantillas with combs. Veils actually originated from this. The Mantillas were used to cover the womens faces as they prayed in church. Its actually a HUGE sign of social stature and respect. I'm estatic that my mom is wearing it. She originally wasn't going to because I'm not getting married in the Catholic Church.

yes, i think that if your BMs will be in floorlength then your mom should too... JMO
