Opinions on these invites (with pic)

FH and I are having a 'dispute' over the invitations. We can't seem to find anything that we both like. Here are 2 that FH likes but I am not not sure about. I think the one with the chocolate and bright orangy/yellow color might be too bold. FH thinks that its great because it 'makes a statement'.

I really like the first one. It's very inviting. The secon one I don't like as much. Nothing about it says wedding to me. I def like #1!

If you are going for a fall theme then I like the first one. If you want I can recommend you to an aweome vendor who is very reasonably priced and has beautiful invitations. We just came back from her today. She works out of her house. Let me know if you need her contact info.

The first one is really pretty.
Be happy that your FH even looks at the invitations!
Mine doesn't even know what the ones I ordered look like, nor does he care!

The colors in the first invitation are chocolate brown and orange/yellow. Not black. We have to get them from a vendor that FMIL wants us to use. She is paying for them and insisting that we use this particular vendor. These were the only 2 invites that FH and I agreed upon from this vendor

I actually looked into the first one myself. I recieved a sample invite in the mail, I loved the colors but for some reason FH and I did not really like them in person, it was a little sloppy looking when you open up the invite, for the money I thought it was not worth it, but this is JMO, other than that they are really beautiful.
