opinions on this first dance song . . .

So, I'm like super traditional and all, but there is this song that I love love love love love. When I was a little girl I loved Madonna's Crazy for you, but I really don't like Madonna. Anyway, my absolute FAVORITE band recently did a cover and its soooo awesome . . . my mom thinks I'm crazy, and I really don't know how we would dance to it, I don't want any fast paced choreographed stuff, but I just need to dance to this song . . . what do you ladies think?! Should we not even bother and find another song? Would we look silly if we slowly swayed to this song?

JMO, you'd probably look a little silly just slowly swaying to New Found Glory lol. Our song is not slow either, but we're going to get dance lessons so that we can dance to it.

I think it's going to be adorable- i'm a big fan of a faster song as a wedding song. I say go for it!!!

I can't watch the link at work, but if you are unsure if you want to make it your first dance song maybe you can incorporate it into the wedding somewhere else, like for the cake cutting.
It sounds like you really like it though, so use it for your first dance if you want!! Practice dancing a few times!

lol i agree, maybe if you get dance lessons also it wont look as awkward

Thanks ladies . . . i just don't want to be all obnoxious with dance lessons and stuff . . . i just wanted to dance and sing to him haha

I think if you love the song it will be great because everyone will see the joy on your face as you guys dance. Practice dancing to it together and see how it feels :) I love Madonna's version though, so classic!
