FH and I are taking lessons at Arthur Murray and it is a lot of fun. We have a great teacher who is funny and patient. It is a little on the expensive side, but a reputable place.

Alternative: Look for a night class offered at a continuing ed program

My FH never dances and I want to take a few lesson before our wedding. May I ask where Arthur Murray classes are held? Is it just one place or do they have several locations? I work in Manhattan but we live on Long Island. Thanks!

We have had 5 lessons with Michele from Remember when. She is great. It's $55.00 per an hour lesson. We've learned about 5 dances...and she has helped choreagraph our first dance. The first lesson is complementary (for 45 minutes.) All are private lessons. They make you feel at ease...we look great and we both have had no dance exp. I highly reccomend them...Enjoy!!!

We are going to arthur murray tomorrow night. anyone heard or been there to Metroplitain dance in Garden city????
