OPINIONS PLEAAAASE!!!

Sooooo now that I've changed the dress I have decided that I want to do a cage veil because I don't want anything taking away from the sleeve on the dress. The more I thought about it the more I thought maybe I wanted to do a hat because I looooove hats and its something that's so 'me'. I'm just not 100% sure about it. I found something I really like and I'm pretty sure I like it with my dress, but i need your opinions too!! (because obviously I can't make a decision without you ladies!!!)

SO here is my dress:


And here is what I was thinking as far as a hat/veil goes (by etsy seller satanica):



If I don't go for a hat I was going to do some sort of big feather/flower thing along with the cage veil. Thoughts???


ETA: Thanks girls!!! I think you might be right, that the hat might be too much...I wish I could try it on with the dress, but its $125 off etsy and I don't want to spend that unless I'm SURE that I'll be wearing it that day!! I'll probably be going to Baron's in Tri-County sometime next month so hopefully I can get a good idea of what will go with the dress then!

one thing you need to make sure is that the colors match EXACTLY!!

such a bold statement has the potential of looking either VERY CHIC or very not-so-good.

but i think if the color was a perfect match, you could totally rock it!!!!!

And I am afraid that the hat will take away from that dress... maybe a small veil, or if you find something with the feather let us know so we can vote on that too!

i think the hat idea would be cute with a birdcage veil but i am just not crazy about that particular one...i think there is too much going on with the feather and the brooch and everything.

I think i have to see it all together on you. I like the birdcage veil, but will it go with your dress? I don't know. This will just have to be another excuse for you to go try your dress on again!
