I am having my eparty on 6/08/07. Is it too soon to send out invites? My Fiance is afraid that people will forget by June because it is so far away. I, however, feel like I want to give people ample time because June is a busy month and we did not send out save the dates. We actually only decided for sure to have an eparty last week, so no one even really knows about it, lol!
Should I send them out now or wait? If I should wait - when should I send them?

I'd wait at least another month. That way you're giving people 2 months notice which is enough time to plan, but not too much time to forget about it.

I wouldn't send out a save the date for an e-party-JMO-but I agree with the post above thatyou should wait about a month to send out the invites.

yeah just wait about a month...it would be too soon if it was a wedding and for e-parties you don't send out that far in advance.

I would not send a STD for an eparty. Also, I think that sending the invite in early to mid April is perfect timing for an Eparty. I mean, that's about 6-8 weeks and that's also the norm for wedding invites. I wouldn't send an eparty invite sooner than a wedding invite.

I would also wait. You could just start telling people as yo see them or talk to them. This way they will have a heads up

We just got invites to a friend's wedding on June 3 this week. Maybe I would wait until the 2 month mark.

For an engagement party, i would sent out invites April or May.... it's not the wedding and you don't want it to be as formal... you still have plenty of time.

yeah no save the dates...you never do that for an e-party...also save the dates are sent out at least 6-8 months before an event. Because basically you would send out an std and then and invitation at the same time, doesn't make sense.

I would wait till April to send them out. As for the STD...I wouldn't send one for the eparty.
