opinions, please!

Hey Ladies--just a quick question of your opinion. DH and I are both teachers--and we met on a Winter Break trip in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We were married in December of 2008--the wedding was big and beautiful. But, we were thinking of 'renewing' our vows on our first anniversary in Cabo, where we originally met. The renewal would be a simple ceremony on the beach---no guests or invites or anything. Just him and I on the beach.

We wanted to do this more as a sentimental romantic thing, than anything else. Here's what I'm wondering....is it tacky and kinda selfish/silly after a big family wedding just 1 year ago?
