Opinions please!!

So, please be HONEST here.

We definitely need transportation for us and our guests from the hotel to the RH and vice versa. It REALLY chaps my asss to spend like $1000 on a couple of round trips in a van...just annoys me to no end and I'd like to use the money elsewhere.

A friend of mine who is a DOC (Chrissi from Fairy Tale Events...shout out!) told me that one of her brides was able to get BRAND NEW, air conditioned school buses to shuttle people back and forth for a really great deal (I think I remember she said it was around $400 or something).

As a guest, would you be offended if you were transported to/from the hotel by school bus??? Keep in mind that they are new, not like all smelly and nasty from pukey little children.

I really like the idea, and I also like the idea of pictures in the school bus and stuff...but I'm not sure if people would be annoyed by it.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

someone on Rich Bride Poor Bride did that ... her guests (all family) didn't mind ... and that was an old crappy stinky school bus with no A/C

i don't think i'd mind ... it might be kinda nostalgic actually

Is it literally a school bus? Or a shuttle/van that looks like a school bus? If it is really a school bus with a 'SCHOOL BUS' sign, then thats a definite no in my book. Sorry JMO! This is the most important day in your life, I cant see transporting your guests in a school bus. Sorry, just being honest!

My FSIL did this for her wedding. I didn't ride in it because I was in the car with the other bridesmaids (they drove), but no one seemed bothered by it. And they weren't brand new.

ok so last summer we went to my coworkers wedding & the transportation from the hotel to the venue was a stinky asss cab. we didnt care one bit!! we were so happy not to drive or pay. plus the cab driver was crazy which made it even better. the ride back to the hotel the bride and groom had a big asss party bus. dude i kid you not i was sooo shiit faced i couldnt even tell you what the bus looked like.lol imo save your coin go for the school bus. i bet u will get some fun kickasss pics. oh and to answer the question i would not be offened.

I would never be offended. At a lot of weddings people are on their own to get home from the wedding. So if anything I think it is more thoughtful and people would be very appreciative of what you want to do for them.
