I work with women that are in their 40's and 50's..I was saying about getting the engagement party favors, and one of them said to me that since FH and I are paying for the whole thing ourselves and we need to save as much as possible no one will be looking for a favor that no one needs..
I feel like alot of them are out of the loop with the 'weddings world of today'..isn't that rude if we don't give a favor?? or is it ok and I should save the $..TIA

I would definitely give out a little something. . .it doesn't have to be expensive. My aunt made us chocolate bars to hand out (just hersey bars and she made the wrapper), and my sister put together like organza bags of hershey kisses and she made little stickers for the bottom.

I think you have to give a little something. Keep in mind that these people are most likely giving you money and gifts to put towards your wedding so it's a nice gesture to give something in return...
And how cute are those hugs and kisses box?!?!?!?

I think giving a little something would be nice. I like the hershey kiss idea, or what about personalized M&M's?

I think that people expect to get something. My FH and I are donating money to a charity. The beauty of that is that you can chose the amount you want to donate and no one has to know how little or how much you decide to donate and its a tax write off!!

thank you. I am going to be donating for the favors at the wedding to the hospice that took care of my Grandma. <3
are you having printed cards for the plates? where are you getting them from?
