I had no intentions of wearing a veil, but now I'm 2nd guessing my decision and I don't know why!?!
I initially felt a veil would be too much with the capelet and I thought it would be difficult to find a veil to cooridinate with my light blush dress. Do veils come in colors? Can they be dyed?
What do you girls think? Should I just stick with a tiara or bother to try and find a veil?

Re: Opinions please!!! (Regarding wearing a veil)
I am assuming the caplet is the veil that is around her shoulders??? Is this right? If that is the case I think maybe it is too much veil but on the other hand if you had it come out of the lower back of your head it might look very pretty. Now that I have totally confused you and myself. And by the way the dress is gorgeous!!!!

When you try on your dress try a veil too and see how that looks. If you like it go for it. What a beautiful dress!

I agree with abc too, but I would also try the thin cathedral length veil, it may drape over the dress really nicely and actually stay down, as opposed to up and pouffy

try the cathedral, but i think a simple jeweled comb like in the picture would work best!

I think the veil will be too much. It will take away from the capelet. I like the way it looks in the picture with just the headpiece and no veil. Besides, most brides take the veils off after the ceremony anyway and just wear the headpiece for the reception.

I absolutely love your dress. I am wearing a Stephen Yearick gown too but I cannot seem to find a picture of it anywhere. I love the intricacy of these designs. I am wearing a veil that comes with the dress and has matching beading. See if your bridal salon has a veil that goes with the dress and try it on together. Or they can call the designer and maybe they can recommend/design a veil.
I'm not sure what the capulet is either. Is it what's around the shoulders or the tiara? If it goes around the shoulders, my thought is to wear it during the reception and wear a veil during the ceremony.

Are you going to keep the capulet on the entire wedding? If so, I think a tiara alone is enough. If you will be taking it off, I think you can go w. a veil at the back of your head. If I remember correctly, you are tall (like me ) so I think you can carry it beautifully. The dress is breathtaking by the way!

Thanks for the input girls!!!
I didn't even think to go to the salon to try on a veil with the gown! I'm such a bonehead!!!
And for the girls who asked, yes, the capelet is what the model is wearing over her shoulder, although it's designed to cover both shoulders. It drapes down the back and the ends have coordinating bead work. I haven't decided if I'm going to wear it during the reception, but I'm definitely wearing it for the ceremony. (I wanted something to cover my shoulders.)
Thanks again guys!

coralmali, did you try ModernBride.com? That's where I found my pic.
What about WeddingChannel.com?
Where did you get your Yearick? I got mine at Bridal Reflections and they didn't mention anything about matching veils to me, but then again at the time I told them I had no interest in a veil, just a tiara.

I AGREE WITH THE LOWER BACK VEIL BUT NOT TO LONG.

Re: Opinions please!!! (Regarding wearing a veil)
Jenny5150,
I'm from NJ and I bought my dress in Jersey at Park Avenue Bridals. I went during a Yearick trunk show (which they have a couple times a year) and the designer said they can make any changes that I request to the dress or veil. This is the reason I say to ask your salon.
I will definitely check those sites for the dress. I really want a picture of it. Thanks.

That is a stunning dress. I think a headpiece will be fine. A veil is not needed.
