Here are pics of the grounds at my reception site... I don't think they are extensive enough to do all my pics so I want to stop somewhere else. FH insists that they are and REALLY doesn't want to stop. There is also the issue of time between ceremony and reception. What do you ladies think? Are these grounds enough for ALL our pics? (BTW - I don't want Poseidon in any of the pics)
Its very pretty there. Maybe you can take pics of your side/family/girls somewhere ese before the wedding to get a little more assortment, but I think the grounds there are plenty. Have you asked your photgrapher? Does the hall have a book of pictures shot on the grounds?

Re: Opinions please - w/pics!
My FI sister got married at Sandcastle 2 1/2 yrs. ago and she only took her pictures there and they came out beautiful. She also had the videographer take footage of them walking around and when I saw the tape I asked how big the area was becuase it seemed like they did a lot of walking and she told me the area was small. I wouldn't worry about it, I think you will get enough pictures with a variety of differnt backgrouds.

Those are a lot of photo-ops to choose from. Don't get yourself stressed out that day with going to 2 seperate places for pictures especially if you are pressed for time. I think the grounds are beautiful.

TAKE THEM THERE! That backround is fine, and believe me, to have to rush around to take pictures really stinks - you'll be better off and more able to relax and enjoy the time with you bridal party taking the pics than if you go somewhere else. Do you have an option if it rains?

I think it looks like plenty of room! It looks very pretty. My photographer told me he only needs a little space to take pictures. It's all about the angle and the positions.

I think you have plenty of photo ops from those pictures. Your photographer can shoot from different angles and each area could take on a different feel.
We took our pictures out side our reception hall and honestly there wasn't too many spots to go, but my photographer was awesome and got some awesome shots in the village that was nearby and on this little stretch by the water that made it look like we had acres of land to work with.
Have faith in your photographer and i'm sure it will be beautiful!!!!

i think those grounds are beautiful - i personally, would not stop anywhere else. if you have the time to stop someplace else, then go for it - but i do not think it's necessary.

Re: Opinions please - w/pics!
ps- the one thing i definatly made sure of, was to go see my hall around the time i am getting married. When we booked Fox Hollow it was in June. So i know the landscaping would be different in Oct. So my FI and i went to sneak a peek. It was just as beautiful. But i recommend doing this for all brides

looks nice, but if you have tons of time it might be nice to stop at another location. I personally want a pond location too in addition to my location, But thats just me. Otherwise this looks like there is enough, and youll be fine!

Re: Opinions please - w/pics!
Where is your church? Does your church have any grounds??
Also, Are there any other weddings at the SC that day that would conflict with your pictures?
I know for us at the IM, the grounds weren't too pretty in late September so Farmingdale was are Answer.. but we also got marrried in Farmingdale and the reception was in Bethpage..
You already know my idea for a place to take pictures.
