so i weighed my invites at work...granted i don't have the hot glue on them but the one insert i put in is a bit heavier than the real thing. They weighed 1.8 oz. Up to 2.0 and 2.0 oz is 64 cents. 2.1 and up is 84 cents. Should I just do 64 cent or just do the 84 cents? Also did any of you girls have issues with them being bulky? Mine has a ribbon tied around the enclosures so its not completely flat, a little bulky on one end.
ETA: I'd have to do 2 44cent stamps

just a heads up mine came out to .84 cents as well and since they dont make a .40 cent stamp i had to use two .44 cents making it .88 cents per envelope.
if i were you i would use the two .44 cent stamps better safe than sorry.

Did you check the size? That's what made mine 1.08. The post office has lines on their scale - if its over the line, its a different postage rate.

You really should take it to the post office and let them tell you. They put mine through a sleeve they had and because it didn't fit it was considered more money. You don't want to send them all out just for the post office to send them all back to you...
HTH!
ETA - because that didn't make sense lol

Assemble one completely and then take it to the post office to weigh it

Definitely take a completed one to the post office. They can put it on the scale and give you a more accurate amount. Mine only came to .64 but I thought it would be more. Plus they gave me my fancy wedding cake stamps!

you should take it to more than one post office. I was told two different amounts from two different post offices. I ended up going with the cheaper amount and they all made it to their destinations.

Re: opinions-postage
Def take them to the post office bc my invites were 64 at first just from the weight, but bc it was completely flat and was 'uneven' (it has ribbon and a rhinestone) it jumped up to 84 cents.
