ok i wanna surprise FH with a Grooms cake at our reception..
so originally i was thinking of doing something Penn State themed.
but then i was thinking it would be cool if we could incorporate all his teams/interests.
-PSU -Giants -Mets -Hockey -Golf -Poker
Does anyone have a creative way I can combine everything or some of it without it looking crazy cluttered?
or should i pick one theme and stick to it?

Make it a poker-table on top, logos of teams around the sides?
eta...or, have the backs of the cards on the poker table be decorated with team logos.

I was thinking of doing something similar but not with sports- iphone, poker, yankees, our dogs lol
so i'd love to hear what people come up with...
maybe u should run it by the bakery and see what they suggest

awesome idea... you can have a 6 person poker game... and each seat could have the different logos on the cards
ETA: that would be a 5 person game... since the sixth option is the poker table

i was going to have a grooms cake for FH but recently decided against it. in order to include all of his favorites i was going to do a round cake with his favorite character sitting on top of it. to include his love for football, a mini Jets helmet & for the love of his computer a mini computer on top too. then include logos around the sides of the cake, of other things that he enjoys, mainly play station logos over the years.

I'd make it look like a closet or a sports locker. Maybe have the stuff spilling out of it, hockey sticks, baseball mitts, team logos, a deck of cards, stacks of poker chips.

I'm having one that's going to be a dinosaur (an inside joke with FH and his family), wearing a dallas cowboys jersey, playing xbox 360
