I wouldn't think you are mean, but I do think it is a little bit of short notice.

I dont think youa re being mean...however, I would start out by saying how excited you are to go look at dresses and get together with everyone. Also I would take out the line about having hte most influence and just put in that due to the fact that your wedding is coming soon you need to pick the dresses ASAP in order to avoid any add'l rush shipping charges so you will be picking one possibly that day!

That was great tina!

You are not going to please everyone all of the time

I went with Ron picked out teh dress

had the girls try in on and come to RK to order it at a cheaper price then the store.

Its my wedding and I wanted this look and I got it

They all loved the dress (I thinK)
and it was simple

xoxoxo Love and kisses!

I dont think that sounds mean at all.

But a little bit too short notice. Can you send the email now to schedule something next week or the week after?

Honestly, I have the same problem.. so here's my suggestion

I think the letter is fine just spell check a bit.
I'd start off by saying something nice.

I don't know.. 'its getting closer are you excited?' 'thanks for being my bm's' whatever. Then say 'Ok, here's what I am thinking,... I can only get a baby sitter on..x day..' so forth. that way you ease into it.

I see where youre going with this I'm sure they will too.

Happy writing!

I think it's fine. It doesn't sound mean at all. You're trying to get things done. I had so many problems getting people together as a MOH, that I had to send out letters like that, but even firmer, because you have to get things done. It doens't sound mean at all, but maybe you could suggest a weekend or evening or something easier?

It's not mean at all. You were very nice, the only grip they may have is the short notice.

It's not mean, but I would take out the line about those that go will have the most influence, that comes across as you'd better go or else..

I don't think u are being mean at all. If some of the girls cant make it then maybe you can ask them when the can make it. Maybe you can try to get a sitter that day too. Good Luck.

I think it is direct, to the point, and not mean whatsover..

its been my experience that when you are TOO NICE and laid back with things like this, nothing gets accomplished.. i.e,. this is why I still do NOT have my BMs dresses finalized yet!!

Good Luck!!

You're not being mean, I just hope they can make it.

Oh, the red strapless dress with the bow in the back was discontinued, as far as I know. I wore it in Lilac last June. But it may still be available in Red - not sure.

Oh, I also wore the halter corset lace up back dress last June. Be aware that you can't wear any bra with it - there is just no way - even backless bras.

However, I'm a DD and I wore it just fine. Even though the groom's family nicknamed me Twin Towers.

ETA: The pink strapless in the bottom right is what my girls are wearing, except they're in Peri.

NICE TASTE, Dear! I loved wearing the two I wore, and my girls are all psyched about what they're wearing.

i know its short notice but
i have a one year old daughter and the only people who are reliable that i would feel safe taking care of her work m-f

i just talked to my fi sister and she said that she had off from school this week ,and her mothers works at the school so she has off too
this is really the only time that i could do it and feel at ease about it
its 4 months away and i have tried getting together on a weekend when most of the girls dont work ...but to some people this doesnt seem to take priority over other things

and my daughter has to be in bed by eight so the evening thing wouldnt even be a realistic idea

T- thats proubly goona end up being what it comes down to me going with ronnie and then getting stressed out because he hates shopping and if i take forever and not anything i like he will be pissed cause we wasted a trip to the city for nothing :(

That last part is a little rude in my opinion. But the rest is fine

Re: Opinion ..does this sound mean

I pretty much agree with everyone else, start off really excited about the whole thing, take out the last line, spell check etc.

Since there's nothing you can do about giving them more time to arrange their work schedules then send it out asap so they can get working on it. Just be prepared that they may not be able to take time off.

Have fun shopping
