I went to the Riviera today and loved it we want to book it on Friday but I would like some feedback food, service etc..
My brothers wedding was last July there and the whole thing was amazing. Great location, great food, great service. Robert was the maitre'd and was awesome too.
My Brother just got married there in July. My parents are still getting calls. The grounds are beautiful. The cocktail hour was outside. There was more than enough seating. Everything was beautiful.
I saw Riviera yesterday actually. I want a summer day wedding so I found it kinda dark because of all the wood. But I loved that it was the only wedding there and I hear the food is excellent. Good Luck!!! They are also v. reasonable.
How many people are you having? I visited there and the views and grounds are beautiful. However I have heard from others who went to weddings there that they are really tight on space and they squish people together to fit everyone in. If it's a small wedding, it should be fine though.
I have been very happy with them so far...I am a little concerned because we are having 189 guests (191 including FH and I), but we will see soon enough! (2 weeks from Saturday!)
I am a Riviera Bride, getting married there this coming November 12th (only 9 weeks away!!)....I also went to a wedding there this past Monday. It was sooo excellent! The food was amazing! i got married in july 2004 qand it was great we lucke dout had a great nights o we got married outside and cocktail outside i had 135 and iot was fine for teh reception not sure how tight the ch room would have been i say 150 the max
I've been to two weddings there and also looked there for my wedding but decided on CLM instead. I think the room is very pretty and the food and services were good. The outdoor CH is also very nice and it is a great view. The only thing is the space in the ballroom. It was ok for the smaller wedding I went to but my cousin's was bigger and we were sitting at a table that was actually on the dance floor and there were also some people squished in the back of the room. If your wedding is bigger than 150 you might want to consider looking somewhere else. The only other thing I didn't like was that one of the weddings was in October and the CH was inside in the back of the bar and alot of people were taking food and sitting in the ballroom because there wasn't enough room.
My dad had his wedding there last dec. and it was really nice. I liked it for a winter wedding b/c it has a fireplace and dark wood. I didn't get to see any of the grounds though b/c it was a snowstorm! I loved the huge dancefloor and the food was really good!
