I don't think she is that amazing. All of the services are donated including the products (appliances, furniture, etc) I had a friend that worked for Harpo.

I know that, but she is someone who uses her celebrity for good and she gets companies to be generous. gotta admire that!

Today's show was wonderful. Even if it's not her own money she's spending, these people wouldn't get all of this without her influence.

You know, I am not too keen that she does this---only because she does it sooooo often. So many shows she is giving things to the guests, and it is not just a token of a gift -it is lots of gifts, expensive gifts, all in one shot a lot of times. Mind you, I think she is amazing, I love watching her shows, I admire her and a fan....I just don't go for these type of shows she has, this is JMO....She is quite generous, which is a beautiful thing---It is just gone on overkill ----but I still love her.

IMO- Oprah is really the only celebrity that puts her money where her mouth is.

She is building a school in Africa!!!! I dont see anyone else using their influence to do some good and try to institute change......

I have to say that I too agree that Oprah is an amazing person - her heart is in the right place - she is a GIVER - without Oprah people would not be given these things - she has done so much for so many people -

Oprah is amazing, she was in that store with the family, she really loves people and cares for them. She was so excited about everything they were getting.
