I am trying to decide between Roadrunner and Optimum Online.
The OO web site does not give much info. Also, I am not a Cablevision customer but can get both RR & OO in my area.
I know these details about Roadrunner and want to know if Optimum Online has the same features.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Optimum Online users come on in...........
I have RR and FH has OO. Both have been great. I like roadrunner better. It has really good self diagnosis software so that if anything does go arong with the connection, it can fix itself. They're comparable though. I'd go with whoeever does your cable TV, there's usually a deal fo digital cable with the cable modem..
FH is payinf $29.95 per month (for the firstyear) for each of his digital cable, optimim online and optimum voice (phone)

Re: Optimum Online users come on in...........
My DH works for Cablevision. He says (I have read it also in magazines) that Optimum Online is faster one of the fastest around.
ETA: I just asked my DH and he said to call Cablevision cause there is no WAY that you can have both Cablevision and Time Warner. Sometimes if you goto the Cablevision site and type in your zip code it will tell you they service that area BUT they might not service your block. So call Cablevision first before you make up your mind.

I had roadrunner and we moved and had to get optimum and I like roadrunner better. I felt like the connection was faster-maybe it's just me. But have had no problems with OO yet.

I'll call them in the morning. I used the website and think I may have to go with RoadRunner based on your info.

My building has TWC and we have some deal in place - bulk rate for like $28.50 per month (not digital though). Roadrunner has some special now, $29.95 for the first 6 months. I'll check with Cablevision to see if they really can give me service.

Re: Optimum Online users come on in...........
Well, I called Cablevision and learned that I cannot get Optimum Online in my area although the web site says I can get that service in my zip code. Oh well. Roadrunner it is since I cannot get Verizon in my area either.
