Hi, Can anyone recommend an oral surgeon in Nassau?
I have a bad track record with quack dentists. I need all four of my wisdom teeth out, so I would prefer to have it done by an oral surgeon.
Any suggestions?

UGH! I wish I could remember his name! he took out 1 of my wisdom teeth about 4-5 yrs ago and he was very good.
he's in a Medical building on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown, almost across the street from Tri County.

Long Island Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery 134 Mineola Blvd Mineola 516-294-9696 They have a group of doctors. I see Dr. Siegal, he is a sweetheart. I have had quite a few teeth pulled and he was great every time, knocking me right out and I was done!!They are located right by Winthrop.

Dr. Richard Krauss on Maple Ave in Rockville Centre. He's a periodontist. He performed oral surgery on me when I was somewhere between 8 and 10, took out 2 impacted wisdom teeth when I was 17, and took out the other 2 wisdom teeth a few years later.

I am having all 4 of mine taken out on Friday, 2 are severly impacted. I was referred to Dr. Garfield's office. They are located on Merrick Avenue in Merrick, only a few blocks north from the train station. I had a consultation with him last week and he was very friendly and informative, been in this iffice since 1971, so h'es experienced, i am jsut soooo nervous...lol

I second this dental group!!! I didnt use Siegal but I did use this group.

I second this dental group!!! I didnt use Siegal but I did use this group.

Siegal is good. i went there to have my wisdom teeth done. i went on 4 separate occasions, i wait until i absolutely cannot take the pain and i was too chicken to have all 4 done at once. on a few occasions i have his partner, i think his name was Cerbone? he was excellent. I dont know what your situation is and if they are impacted etc, but i did mine without the anesethsia that puts you out, but rather just the gas and lots of novacaine. you save lots of $$$$ doing this. i am just too afraid of needles in my arm that is why i did that.

I loved mine. He's in Woodmere (not sure what part of Nassau you were looking for).

I had all four of mine out and HAD NO PAIN... Never used the pain med. the surgeon gave me - I swear he is the best...
