I went this past weekend with a few of my bridesmaids to look at dresses. We found one everyone loved ! I have a dilemma, there is a chance they may get discontinued in June. Should we order them?? My wedding isn't until November 2013.
What if we find another dress we love?? Ugh

I'm getting married in October and am looking at dresses around August because my MOH is preggers. I don't think there's anything wrong with looking already.

Hard call bc chances are, you could find another one but IDK, its a call you have to make....

I had the same problem. I think it depends on the store but I went to Macy's and picked my bm dress last summer. They had one girl pay for her dress to 'hold' the dress. This way if it was discontinued before I was ready to place my order they would call me ahead of time to make sure we placed our order. If I changed my mind they would apply the money the one BM spent on the new dress. They don't place the order till all the girls have paid for the dress. If I didn't 'hold' the dress and it was disc then I would have been sol. HTH

I don't think it's too early to look. Are these dresses really unique? Do you think you won't find anything similar? If not then I would wait.

I would wait til it gets closer to June and look around from now til then to see if you can find something else that isn't being discontinued (b/c then there wouldn't be a such on a rush on having to purchase it). Call the store when it gets closer to June and see if you can find out if the dress will definitely be discontinued.
I would hate for all your girls to buy it, find something better and then have it not be returnable.

Thank you ladies! I won't let my wedding anxiety get the best of me. I'll wait until June and see I they are discontinued and decide then

everyone is different its all about when you are ready & your bm's. if you are that in love and dont think you will find another then go for it

I don't think it's too early because I know my girls are looking for dresses already for October 2013. I'm waiting longer than they are, actually!
