how long did your wedding dress take to come in after you ordered it (and from where). I still haven't found one yet and getting very nervous

I was told mine would come in 6 months.
Most bridal salons told me 4-8 months, with 6 being the most common.
David's Bridal is usually like 2 months, but can be even quicker!

Where have you looked? Which designers do you like? I would suggest going to a trunk show for the designer youlike. They bring in so many dresses that the retail store may not normally carry.

My dress is symphony and it took four months to come in.

I have been to David's but didn't reallly see anything, Estelle's, Saturday I am going to Adrienne's. I like Demetrios and Alvina Valenti, I don't really need designer, but I like mermaid fit. TIA

It depends on the designer and the salon. I ordered from Paradise Bridal in Patchogue and they don't schedule them to come in until 8 weeks before your wedding. My dress was a Demetrios Couture. Ordered April 2005 Arrived April 2006 Wedding June 2006
I don't think my experience was typical tho. But if it's necessary you can always Rush the dress in, tho it'll cost you more.

I ordered mine in October, it is supposed to come in March, it is Melissa Sweet, ordered from the Priscilla of Boston store in Roslyn

RK bridal no frill service. I ordered a san patrick dress, and it was delivered in about 9 weeks

You should try macys if you like Demetrios. I was there about 1 month ago and they had gotten all new dresses in.
