Order of Invites...

In what order are the invitations placed in the envelope?

I have:
outer envelope, inner envelope, tissue, invitation, reception card, response card, response envelope, direction card

which way do the outer and inner envelope face? I place the inner envelope in the outter envelope with the back flap facing which way?

And does the inner envelope need to be sealed too?

Sorry for all the ?'s

Thanks!!

I'm about to assemble mine too....I actually have no idea how they are 'supposed' to be placed - but I'm just going to do them how I think is nice....I am going to seal the inner envelope and probably face them all the same way with rsvp envelope with rsvp inside - but on top of everything inside. if that makes any sense.....

Re: Order of Invites...

This is what I did:

Invitation, tissue paper on top, then any and all direction cards on top of that. Then I put the reception card and then on top of that I put the RSVP card (tucked into it's envelope). I put all that inside the inner envelope, DIDN'T seal the inner, flipped it over to write the names (ie John & Guest) and then put the whole thing into the outer envelope. So the flap of the inner is facing away from you when you put it into the outer (if that makes sense).

Hope that helps!!!

Not sure if this is the 'correct' way, but this is what I did.

In the inner envelope I put.. (bottom to top)
Invitation
RSVP Envelope with the RSVP card and Reception card under the flap (reception card 1st)
*I just put the direction cards in after I put everything else in

I had the inner envelope face out so when people pull them out, they see their names right away. I also didn't seal the inner envelopes.

Honestly, I don't think there is a right or wrong way to stuff the envelopes, just make it look nice! HTH!
