OK What is the order people walk down - like my mom, FH's parents? Does FH and the best man walk down or they just start up at the alter. Who walks with my mom? Are you having the BMs walk with GM - or alone? The MOH walks alone, right?
UGH - I am so stinkin clueless

Re: Order of Processional
I'm probably going to have FI and BM walk down together, then FI's parents, my parents, and then groomsmen with bridesmaids. I like it better when they're together rather than alone. The guys always look really uncomfortable just walking down an aisle by themselves.

Re: Order of Processional
I am just as aggravated and confused, but this is what I am thinking:
First my grand parents Then his grandparents Then my mom (dad is deceased) Then his parents Then him Followed by BM and the rest of his groomsmen
Then Brides maids Followed by MOH
then me
For all I know this is completely incorrect, but hey, it makes sense to me. Some people have the bridal party walk in together, but I like the drama of them walking in seperately and I think it ties in with the symbolism of how the bride and groom walk in seperately and leave joined as a new union.

Re: Order of Processional
Pretty much in this day and age you can do whatever you want. Esp since you're getting married at your RH, there aren't any restraints.
Traditionally your mom is the last to be seated (usually by her oldest son if he's an usher) and when she gives the signal the processional begins. FH's mom is seated just before your mom by an usher, and his dad follows behind.
Your FH and his BM normally just stand at the altar, but we're including them in our processional. Tho I'm thinking about having them walk down w/out any music since they'll be lighting a memorial candle. The GM can escort the BM down the aisle, but they can walk on their own if you decide. The MOH walks alone, just before your entrance.
HTH!!

This helps alot. My brother is in the bridal party though - so I'm not sure if I would have him walk my mom down or maybe someone else. Thanks!

There's no 'right' or 'wrong' way, just that bride always goes last

Yes MOH walks by herself, I am having the bridesmaid and groomsmen paired up to walk down the aisle. But I believe the order of my processional will be: His grandparents My grandparents His parents The bridal party (BM & groomsmen together) ring bearer Flower Girl MOH
FI & Best man will be waiting at the alter.
