So, I decided to stop being a chicken and order a birdcage veil. I have been on the fence about getting one for awhile.I did alot of research on what I wanted (birdcageveils.com especially) and decided to see if Barrons could help me out. I didnt want to order online because I wanted to make sure I didnt look ridiculous in one. Barrons had a few to try on. I also brought along pictures of what I wanted. We then picked out a flower and feather fascinator. He is going to have the flower be able to detach from the veil because I only plan on wearing the veil part for the church. I will then wear only the flower for the reception. He also is adding a few scattered rhinestones for some bling. The price was good, $100, about $40 cheaper than what I saw online for a comparable item. I told him to take his time because I have 10 months to my wedding, so I wont have it until after the New Year. Here are some pictures of what inspired me:

GORGEOUS!!!!!! I did a birdcage veil for the last 2 hours of my reception and i'm glad I did. It looks great in pics and really completes your look! Plus it was so light on my head I didn't even feel it!

Barron's is in the Tri-County Flea Market in Levittown. If you go in the front doors, Barron's is right in the front to the left.
If you want to get ideas...go to Birdcageveils.com, she has beautiful stuff and that is where I got my inspiration. I would have gone with her, but since it is all over the internet, I got nervous in case I needed her to adjust something, I rather deal with a real person. Also, Barron's saved me like $40.

I am wearing my hair in an updo. If you look in my photo album, I have a pic of my hair trial. I have very thin hair, so hair down isnt an option for me
