Ordered my copper tiles, engineered wood floors and cabinets for my kitchen!
Just doing the happy dance (while seeing dollar bills flying out the window) that this kitchen might actually get done one day!
Back to your scheduled programming....

Will post pics in a minute.
Regular wood floors are made up of 100% regular wood (oak, cherry, whatever) and are usually glued/nailed down. They have a low tolerance for less than ideal conditions like moisture.
Engineered wood floors are also made of real wood but have a plywood backing that make them more durable in a kitchen environment. They are installed in a floating floor way - over foam and a moisture barrier. They are also simplier to install b/c they have an underlocking mechanism.
