you're right... she doesnt want me wearing my boots either but I am... it's MY wedding. not hers. and i paid for the jewelry not her... so there. HMPF. lol

Actually when i ordered it i said...'it might not be as great in person, we'll see what happens' so i know it might not be that great... but she totally burst my bubble when I was all excited.

I've been going crazy trying to find the right kind of cameo...
I feel like this will go really well with my 'theme' even though no one else will even notice that I have a theme.

I'm not sure if i like the little dangly pearl/crystal at the bottom but since I make jewelry it'll be easy enough to fix.
It comes with the little pearl earings which i can also change around if I decide to...

What do you think? I know it sounds silly but I feel like it matches my invitations lol


FMIL also offered to let me borrow some of FH's grandmother's jewelry. So we're going to go through her stuff and if I like something I'll bring it and this necklace when i go for my first fitting.

Without even seeing a picture, my mother hates it. She said 'it's going to look like crap' after I told her how much i spent on it.
I can't help that I'm not into blowing money I don't have on things I don't need...
As long as I like the necklace, shouldn't that be all that matters?
I don't even want it anymore

That's just my mom for ya... she means well... but she speaks without thinking a lot. I'm guessing she's where I get that trait from lol.
I didn't care if it looked like crap originally, b/c i figured it was worth a shot at the price i got it for, but now i'm worried that it'll look like crap and i'll have wasted my money and i'll have to hear 'I told you so'
