Ordered my dress today!!!

I took the day off today and went to Bridal Reflections-Massapequa with mom. I ordered the Christos dress I have wanted for over a year and a half. YAY!!!!! Here it is. It is everything I dreamed it would be.

After I got measured a lot bigger than I expected, I wasn't thinking of ice cream. I actually cried in the store and then signed a waiver to have one size smaller (which should fit). I know they run small, but I wear an 8-10 regular clothes and they wanted to order a 16 gown. i cried and made a fool of myself and then signed the waiver for a 14.

I need to lose some weight before next summer

Mom really got weepy. She said it reminds her of her dress because it has reembroidered Alencon lace like hers did.

Oh yeah, just to prove that guys do pay attention, I showed my dad a picture of the dress and he said it reminded him of my mother's dress and he thinks it is perfect for me and it looks like a society girl dress Gotta love daddy!! And mommy, she paid!!

COngratulations!! Beautiful dress!!

Do NOT get upset about the sizing - I am also and 8/9, and my dress is a 16. A 14 would have been a perfect fit, but they could not get it in time. BRIDAL SIZES are almost ALWAYS 2 sizes bigger than your normal!!! Almost everyone goes through this, don't be upset.
