You DO show up in whatever... but your wonderful MOH brings you a nice dress to wear!!!! What is this ur first shower?!?!

No seriously though...every shower I've ever been to they've either known before hand and showed up in something nice and primped (Veronica) or its been a surprise and they've shown up in sweats....I just thought it was up in the air...


I'm glad you're prepared though so you don't kick my *** for not telling you if you show up in jeans LOL

no u mo mo.. The MOH or FH keeps the dress and brings it so u can change into it... All my family showers were like this... the sister of the bride or MOH or whoever takes the outfit u wanna wear and puts it aside for the day of... Only thing is- u cant forget it!!!!!
Or i can ask dan to just keep it in his trunk...

IT's very pretty. Seems a bit fancy. Unless of course your having your shower at an upscale place. But being that your moms going to take it up, I think you'll look great.

Awe... she's the bride. She can dressed up. Did you see pics from my Shower? I wore a dress from the same store... I was told about it a week in advance so I had time to shop. It was in a nice restaurant in the city, but no matter where it's at the bride can wear anything and still look great.

thats how I ALWAYS saw it to be done...
I've never been to a shower where the Bride wore a dress, I think a sundress of some type wouldn't be as formal, but personally, I've never seen it, but I also hate wearing dresses. I'm more of a skirt person. So I KNEW my shower was that day, but I didn't want to make it TOO OBVIOUS, so I did have a really pretty skirt in my car with a nice shirt.. it rained the day of my shower, so I didn't feel like putting the skirt on when I left the house, so It had been kept in my car for over a month, and I had the cute sandals on because I wore really pretty CANDIES jean capris with rhinstones, so they were dressy enough, and I had a nice top on, so when I got there, I was so siked, i didn't even wanna change, and it was so chilly in Nick Diangelos.....! :o)
But typically all I've known it to be, is that the mother of the bride or MOH pick an outfit [of a persons closet] or maybe even buy a new one, but not a dress....but everyones family is different thats what makes us so unique ;o)
