So I ordered my dress yesterday!! So excited! I realized when I came home that they ordered me a size two sizes bigger than the sample! Now I'm not a girl where the actual size bothers me. But my concern is that the sample fit me, maybe it was a little snug. So I would have been fine if they had ordered me one size bigger . . . but why 2?

yaaay! congrats on ur gown! My seamstress wanted to do that in case of 'weight fluctuation' because it's easier to take a gown in rather than let it out....personally, i think it's so they can make their money in alterations lol.but that's just me. Needless to say i told my seamstress that my weight never fluctuated before & if anything i was tightening up...i made her order me the size i wanted and it was perfect...all they had to do was a mini-hem, a bustle(of course), and make me look like i had boobies

Be glad they did that, mine ordered to my exact measurements and the dress had to be completely re-built! It was 2 sizes TOO small! It was not an enjoyable experience at all!
ETA:Dont forget that the sample has stretched from the original size from people putting it on
