Ordering Cake Samples and Cake

Hi girls! I was reading through some posts and saw that people are ordering their cake samples and cake. My wedding is in a little less than 7 months. When is a good time to order samples? When does the cake have to be ordered?

i e-mailed my banquet manager and asked when I should do the tasting and she was able to set it all up for me. Try e-mailing your BM and see if they could give you some info

Watermill's house baker is The Rolling Pin. I have no clue how to go about this. I thought I had plenty of time to wait, but after looking on here, it seems like I am behind now. If you find out any more information about how and when we should order our cakes please let me know.

You can order your tastings on Rolling Pin's website. They are closed for 2 weeks for vacation right now. But you can still order, click the side bar link on their site to request a tasting, then pick the samples you want.

I just spoke the the Rolling Pin bakery because they are doing our cake too. They told me on their website you can order the samples and choose a time to pick them up. They also said that I could email them which cake I wanted and that they only needed to know 2 weeks in advance.
