Hi everyone! I've started looking into invitations for the big day. I received great samples from Invitations by Dawn, but it took me so long to receive them, I'm a little hesitant to order wedding invites through them. Has anyone used them or have any other good experiences with budget friendly online invitation retailors? TIA

I ordered invitations online from David's Bridal and am really happy with them. I requested like a million samples and always got them pretty quickly. My invitations came within the time frame they gave me, i think it was about 2 weeks, and I absolutely loved them. If you sign up for their emails you can get some really good deals, I got the response cards free of charge, free shipping as well.
My samples from Invitations by Dawn came fast but I really wasn't impressed. Someone recommended Whimsy B. Designs and I fell in love! It's not an online shop but you can see a lot of their work online. They're located in Deer Park.
I found invitations I loved online! My only question is how far in advance should I order? I need to call and see about that. I would honestly order now but I def don't have all my addresses and final list yet.

I'm waiting for my samples from Invitations by Dawn right now. They shipped on Monday. I might go check out a local shop. Whimsy B Designs does have an Etsy shop if you wanted to look around. I live in the town that borders Deer Park, so it's right up the road from me. I'll check them out in person. I thought at first that I wanted to DIY my invites, but now it just seems like a lot of work. lol.

I didn't know they had an Etsy shop! Thanks for that tip. I have a friend who did her own invites. I just don't have that skill!

I am getting mine from zazzle - I ordered a few to check them out and picked the best one. Good pricing of you need 50+
I got my samples from invitations by dawn today. Some of them I feel like, meh. But I really like two of them. (Mine shipped Monday and I got them today!)
Maybe I shouldn't be concerned then if I use them. I guess the mail by me is just super slow. How far in advance are you supposed or order invitations?

I'm glad you had a good experience with them. I also don't want to spend a fortune and they had a style I liked. I was only concerned because it took an extremely long time to get my samples. I order everything as far in advance as I can just in case. I would rather have it out of the way and what is the risk? I found nice ones from Kleinfield paper
