Ordering invitations today need help with theRSVP date

I am ordering my invitations today, our wedding is 4/28, what date should I have as the RSVP date?

traditionally it is one month before the wedding, but it would be best to contact your reception hall to find out when they require the final headcount, and make the RSVP date at least 2 weeks prior to that.....

Our RSVP date is about 6 weeks before the wedding date. Our RH needs our final head count two weeks before, and we figured we'd have a month to call any non-responders!

I did 1 month before

wedding is march 24th

rsvp by feb 24th

mailing out on Jan 24th

works for me!

4 wks is probably good. I did 3 weeks because I have a small wedding.

I would do 5-6 weeks... it will give you time to contact the late rsvpers and do your placecards/seating and favors and still have time to give info to your RH...
