How long before you get married do you typically order wedding bands? Can anyone reccommend reasonable places they have purchased their rings?

DH got his from blue nile . com and is extremely pleased. He got a simple platinum band.

I think it all depends on what kind of material the ring is made of.
My Husbands ring is Platinum and we got it at Michael C Fina. It took about 2-3 weeks to come in and was about $1500. Its a ring made by MCF so it was in relativly quickly.
if we had ordered a fancy ring by another designer at MCF It probably woud have taken 6 weeks.
My band was custom made with diamonds that were HIS great grandmothers. Dont know how long from order to arrive it was.

I think we got ours about 5 months prior.....DH ordered my band on blue nile and I got his at Jareds

we got ours in November which would make it 6 months before the wedding. We got ours in Atias in Sayville. We got mine for $1000 and his for $350

i highly recommend getting stuff like this done asap. it really doesnt matter when you do it- i think we picked ours out in the summer (6 months ahead), so whenever you have the time, do it. we got a good deal with argyle jewelers but ive also heard of people doing really well, especially for guys bands, through overstock.com and bluenile.com good luck!

it all depends on what u want. if u want something costume made then go like 2 months before, but if u order anything out of book you can usually have it in like a week. Most of the companies i work with at my store only take about a week

we went to Gabriel Jewelers in Tri-County. The rings were ready within 2 weeks. DH got a white gold benchmark and I got white gold with princess cut diamonds.
