I have like three different excel spreadsheets with all of my guests on there-- one which gives a overview of all the guests-- that can fit on one screen.. One that has all of them listed with their addresses.. and another RSVP tracker.

Anal much?

I've found my soulmate!!!!!!!

I did this too. Then I had each table set up before all my responses came in and if I needed to rearrange from there, I did. But the bulk of it was already done so all I had to do was some tweaking

Re: organizing guest list

Ours is in a spreadsheet in microsoft works.

Columns are:
ID# (for noting on response card)
L Name
Woman's first name
Man's first name
Outside envelope heading
Address (a few columns for this)
Inside envelope heading
# invited
# attending (with totals and percentages at bottom)
Table #
Placecard wording

I spun off separate RD and shower invite lists from this worksheet.

So far, 51 people or 20.8% are attending!

I love theknot!!! It's got everything...and for someone who is unorganzied it keeps you extremely organized!

thank you all

Ive been doing regular ms word with tables but its getting out of hand with all the columns and adding and moving around

I honestly hate my guest list...i get sick just looking at it - its too stressful for me. I refuse to do it anymore so i dont know why i asked this question anyway!

We set it up on Microsoft Excel, we made columns for invitations, names, address, phone numbers, # attending - adults/kids, wedding role.

Another vote for anal Excel spreadsheet! I was going to use the knot or LIW or weddingchannels tools for that, but I am afraid their site might crash and I would lose everything. I don't even know if this is possible, but I am paranoid!
