Organizing your Guest List

Please share how you organized your guest list. Excel spreadsheet? Word doc?

Mine is all in a very detailed excel sheet. Multiple sheets, filters, etc.

excel spreadsheet all the wayyyyy

i have a tab for my list, and tab for fh's

columns for if theyre getting a std (cuz some households are getting more than 1 invite, but im only doing 1 std per house), columns for whos invited to the shower, columns for # in party invited, # accepted, comments (useful for fh's oot family i havent met), address etc

I'm using Excel; I think it's much easier to organize things. You can use formula's to get total number of things. I also use Excel for my budget. I love it.

i am using excel and had different tabs for what i still need to get done, addresses, shower stuff, payments

i have a main set up in excel but am also using weddingwire.com. they have a drag & drop seating chart that is amazing. also because i can then give my sister the log in information if she needs addresses & phone numbers for the shower.

Excel, it's the easiest to manipulate and sort, put filters on etc... and when it comes time to send out my STDs I'm going to just do a mail merge and print them out from the spreadsheet.
