Oscar gets jealous when I talk on phone

Every time I start to talk on the phone Oscar tries to get my attention. I don't know if he thinks I am talking to him. He usually jumps into my lap. Sometimes he will just try to play with my feet. When FH and I are both here and we are talking, he is fine, and when it is just Oscar and me, he is fine, but when I am on the phone, he is like a little baby.

Chewie pulls on my pants leg while I am on the phone.

I've noticed that Chewie and Oscar, though different breeds, put us through a lot of the same things!!!!!

Oh, and I just figured out that Oscar will lie on his new bed only if there is a blanket on top of it. He had a blanket in another room. I was trying to give him a variety of places to lie down but he wanted the blanket and bed together. Silly ME. I wonder if he needs a good book to read in bed also.

that is so funny - I think it's a puppy thing though, because Golem was doing that for a while! At first, he thought there was someone IN the phone bc he could hear the voice but couldn't figure out where the person was, so he'd try to get to the phone to investigate! He doesn't do it so much now, only if we're in the middle of playing and I get up to answer the phone - he'll kinda follow me like 'okay, you're done now, right?' Puppies are so funny!
