Other honeymoon options (repost)

Some of you know that i've been looking into a timeshare from my parent's company in Hawaii. I was told Hawaii is reallly difficult to get during the time we want to go so they suggested looking at other places too.

SO we decided to look at St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Maarten.

These are the timeshares available:

St. Thomas - Marriott Frenchman's Cove

St. John - Westin

St. Maarten - Pelican Resort Club or Oyster Bay Beach Resort (both on the Dutch side)

So far, from what i've heard from friends, they like St. Maarten the best.

Any opinions on these islands or any of the resorts I listed? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

well i was in st thomas and st maarten last month..

st maarten is my fav island i have everrrr been to! i love ittttttttt. much better jewelry shopping than st thomas! and that swhere i got engaged so i like that island. but the beach was much ncier than the 1 in st thomas.

i went to philipsburg. ugh im dying to go backk!!

My family has our timeshare in st marteen and we absolutely love it

I don't know which one we stay in but the island is awesome.

the food is great and the people are so friendly!!!!

my parents friends told me about st. maarten and that it was one of their favorite places. is there stuff to do there outside of the resorts? cuz we dont wanna be too bored lol

the area i think we were looking at is phillipsburg. i think thats where the oyster bay beach club is. the other - pelican resort is in simpson bay.

I have been to St. THomas and St. Maarten- I liked both of them. I thought they were both beautiful islands. If you go to St. Thomas there is a ferry ride that will take you to St. Johns...so that might be a option to look into for the day

St John is by far my Favorite.....so beautiful and the beaches are awesome. THe town is nice and has some of the best restaurants
